How It Works

This website helps the user to find the nearby baby changing stations from his current location or the location the user has searched. A user can find the changing stations using Search box, map and restroom list. This help page will let you know about all the features and components of this website and explain how it works. The map opens with user's current location.
If there is any data available about nearby baby changing stations, purple pins are displayed on the map.
Each pin corresponds to a baby changing station location. This station can be located inside a mall, shop, restaurant, public place etc.
The pins are numbered.
On the right side of the map there is a list of locations displayed. The list contains the names of the locations shown by purple pins with the corresponding number.
Whenever a location is searched, the map shows all the baby changing stations nearby (within 5 miles) the searched location from available data.

This list is displayed on the right side of the map. The locations in this list appear in the map.
Each location in this list has a serial number. These locations are displayed on the map with corresponding serial number.
When user clicks on the name of the location, that particular location is shown at the center of the map.
Every location in this list has name, address and the types of restrooms (Male/Female/Family/Unisex) available at that location.
Each available type of restroom has either a green tick mark in front of the type indicating that that type of restroom has a baby changing station included or a red cross mark in front of the type indicating that that type of restroom does not include baby changing station.
Each of the listed locations also has Rating stars and average rating displayed below them. This shows how many users have rated the restrooms of this location based on cleanliness, hygine and proper installation of the changing station. A user can rate the location using the Rate button displayed next to the rating stars.

Search

The Search box is placed right on top of the map.
A user can type the desired location in the search box for finding baby changing stations at that location.
When the user starts typing the location, location suggestions appear below the box. The box can autocomplete the searched location like google search.
After the desired location is found, it will show all baby changing stations within five miles of the searched location.

When a user wants to add a new baby changing station information, he/she can do so by clicking on the map on the specific location. This action will open a popup window.
User will fill in the details such as Name of the place where the baby changing station is located, address of the location, type of location whether it is a restaurant, mall etc.
Also the user will fill in the details about what type of restrooms are available at the location and which of them have baby changing station included.
The user can also rate the restrooms based on cleanliness, hygine and proper installation of the changing station.
Once the form is filled, user will click on the Save button to store the information about the location he/she just added.
This will immediately drop a purple unnumbered pin on the map at this newly added location.

If a user wants to rate any existing location, he/she can do so by clicking on the 'rate' button displayed next to every location on the sidebar on the right side on map.
This will open a rating popup where user can rate the location by selecting the number of stars he/she wishes to give to the selected location.
The rating is on the scale of 1 to 5 where 1 star indicates very bad and 5 stars indicate very good.

The Leaderboard shows top 10 members with highest scored points in descending order.
The members of ClinClinBaby will receive the points for adding a location or editing the rating of an existing location.
To become a member, user will sign up which is completely free.
When a user signs up, he/she can login to the website. The user can add location or rate after he/she does the login.
The user will get 5 points for every location added and 1 point for every location rating.
Leaderboard has two sections - Nationwide and Teamwide.
The Nationwide section displays top 10 member from all over the United States.
The Teamwide section displays top 10 members from the user's team (more information about the teams is given in the section 'Creating Teams').
Both Nationwide and Teamwide sections have sub-sections named All Time and Monthly.
All Time section displays top 10 members from beginning to current time.
Monthly section displays top 10 members for current month.

The user needs to provide valid email ID for sign up. User will use this email ID to login to his/her account.

This form contains information about the user. In this form user can join or create a team. If the user is already a member of any team, the name of his team will be dosplayed in this form.
If the user wishes to join a team that already exists, he/she can do so by clicking on Join Team button. This will open a popup where a dropdown contains all the teams present already. The user can select the team and click on Save button to become a team member of the selected team.
If a user wishes to create his own team, he/she can do so by clicking on Create Team button. This will open a popup where the user can specify the name of his new team and click on Save. A new team will be created.

This feature enables user to create his/her own team and compete within the team by earning more and more points. User can earn points by adding a new location or rating an existing location. This can make adding restroom information a fun game. Points earned by user are displayed on the leaderboard where the user can track progress and how many points he/she needs to earn to top the list.
Teams can be created using Create Team button on User profile page. User can access this by clicking on the menu item 'Welcome user_name' and selecting My Profile from the dropdown menu.
